Inspector is cleaner as a SaaS web app. Users paste text or upload files directly, avoiding Chrome Web Store approval and extension piracy concerns.

Checks: invisible Unicode, metadata/provenance markers, Office document properties, AI-use risk signals.

The Guxee account and Worker/D1 backend must own license state. Extensions and web screens only ask for authorization.
Email ownership: email/password login plus time-limited email passcode for new activations.
Device control: install ID activation table with configurable device limit and revoke flow.
Separate products: Finder and Inspector use separate D1 license databases to prevent cross-product unlock leakage.
Payments: Stripe handles card capture and the one-time charge after the 10-day trial.
